Source code is about a a man who is unknowingly in a coma, he is plugged into machines that are keeping him alive, unaware that he is just a brain he is put on a mission to go back in time to a certain point to intercept a bomb, but before he is able to do this he must identify the bomber in order to save millions of lives. The source code allows him to go back and his identity is the one of someone who didn't make it, his mind is still his own which is why on his first voyage back to the moment of time where he was required he is left confused and unaware of his mission. He is briefly told what has happened and what needs to be done and he is sent back, 8 minutes is all he has each time to find the bomb or bomber, his first few attempts are futile he is getting nowhere and getting annoyed and impatient by his lack of achievement. As he starts to get closer to the identity of the bomber he becomes more determined to save everyone especially one person the woman who appears to know him, she knows who she can see she is unaware that it is a different person inside this body presented before her.
